Mark Braun

In addition to writing numerous articles for The Northwestern Lutheran (Now Forward in Christ), Wisconsin Lutheran Quarterly, and the WELS Historical Institute Journal, he has also written The People’s Bible commentary on Deuteronomy and the Bible Discovery series title Time Between the Testaments: Connecting Malachi to Matthew.

He is a member of the WELS Historical Institute, the American Society of Church History, the Concordia Historical Institute, and the Lutheran Historical Conference. Those memberships have enabled him to become acquainted with other Lutheran historians. He completed his doctoral dissertation on the break in fellowship between the Missouri and Wisconsin Synods which was published by NPH as A Tale of Two Synods: Events That Led to the Split between Wisconsin and Missouri.
