The list of problems that stress us out on a daily basis can be a mile long. Whether it's financial problems, health issues, job worries, the list can go on and on. Many of us have extremely full schedules, are pulled in so many different directions, and often feel overwhelmed and frustrated. But there is hope, because God is right there, fighting our daily battles with us.
Where in the World Is God? is a book of 70 devotions written for anyone facing adversity, discouragement, or fear. Author Harold Senkbeil's meditations invite us into the presence of our loving God through his life-giving Word. Pastor Senkbeil doesn’t presume to know all the answers, instead he directs us to God. These uplifting devotions proclaim God’s Word with power and promise, letting the Bible answer our questions about life with a mix of compassion and candor. If you’ve ever found yourself asking “Where in the World is God?” in your life, this devotional will help guide you to the answer.

Meditations Review by Annette
A Book that Starts each meditation with a Bible verse. A small, lighthearted story to pump some TLC and a prayer at the end. This is my first attempt writing a review. It was good for morning, with my coffee. 70 meditations. (Posted on 8/22/2017)

Peek-a-boo I see you! Review by AnnetteAdrian
A Bible verse. A little bit of a story or lesson. A prayer at the end. Its a range of about 70 meditations all-together, all referring to, in one way or another, where is God? They are short and sweet 10-15 minutes each unless you want to get technical and deeply involved in the topic which then could roughly take you a while. If, however, there is no dissecting and everything is simply understood it ends rather simply. It's a nice addition to my library, even though I'm not a major fan of meditations, it can be surprisingly witty and charming all on its own. #48. The Pursuit of Happiness. It starts with the Bible verse, Luke 12:15 A man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. The story line that uses this verse interprets, 'Greed is, after all, idolatry'. For all idolatry is sin. Therefor we can say no to sin, and the seduction of greed. Then there's a prayer and the following meditation, #49, is on the next page.
For some reason, I didn't find anything in #48 about where is God?
Maybe he was on my shoulder as I was reading the meditation.
okay, all funniness aside... its a great lil book... (Posted on 8/20/2017)
