Sieh, Hier Bin Ich

This piece is designed to accompany the congregation as it sings classic Lutheran hymns. It also allows for the use of a variety of instruments. The piece is based on two hymns: "Jesus Came, the Heavens Adoring" (CW 26) and "Gracious Savior, Gentle Shepherd" (CW 508). There is an introduction, a hymn verse with a wind instrument lead, and a verse with the piano as lead. Not all instruments are needed for successful use of the setting. The downloadable PDF includes all instrument scores.
