Simple, solid piece choirs will want Review by Martin
Kyrie by Kurt Cereske is a fresh setting of a classic Lutheran hymn - Kyrie, God Father in Heaven Above (CW 266). The tune is simple, serene and sweet - reflective. Although scored for SATB, it can easily be sung as SA or even a solo. With its invocation of the Trinity and its clear explanation of salvation truths, it fits in many places throughout the church year - Reformation, Christmas, Lent, Trinity Sunday, etc. The optional guitar score adds wonderful variety and freshness. Lutheran choirs will want to have this in their repertoire. (Posted on 10/11/2018)
