Accounting Assistant


NPH is hiring two part-time Accounting Assistants. As a member of the accounting team, you will work closely with other accounting staff and will be responsible for supporting the work of Northwestern Publishing House by performing and refining the following:

  • Accounts payable
  • Account receivable
  • Month-end close
  • Tax support
  • Corporate budgeting
  • Annual financial audit
  • Other accounting and business functions

In this position you will have the opportunity to interact with others in many areas of the business. Some skills and experiences that will be helpful in an Accounting Assistant role are:

  • General accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience
  • Experience working in an ERP business system
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and continuous process improvement

Work schedules for these positions can be flexible around core business hours and accounting department needs.
