New catechism students begin with different levels of understanding regarding all that is recorded in God's Word. Use the new
Growing in the Word curriculum to help all your students build a foundational knowledge of Bible history while incorporating the most important elements of catechism doctrine.
Growing in the Word is a 58-lesson course that provides an overview of Bible history in one year. Parts of Luther's catechism are integrated to show students that doctrine is the application of the truths God teaches in the Bible.
The
Growing in the Word Teacher's Guide is designed to help you adapt the curriculum to your needs. In addition to providing answers to the course questions, it includes the following digital resources on a CD:
- Scheduling templates to personalize your calendar for the course
- PowerPoint presentations covering lesson questions and answers
- Digital lists of supplemental passages in NIV11 and ESV translations
- Digital versions of key questions for studying and testing
- Digital version of the time lines and maps
As students study Bible history and Luther's catechism together, they will learn that God has loved them since the beginning and surely will through all eternity.
