As Christians get older, they often begin to closely examine their lives and faith in Christ. They may ask, "Am I living fully for God?" "Am I putting my faith into practice?" "Am I completely focused in my relationship with God?" Even well-seasoned Christians face new temptations and challenges that cause them to continue to search for piety in life.
Justification and sanctification go hand in hand with our need for a Savior and the subsequent desire to live a holy life. This book examines these close-knit relationships and explores the many strands that connect faith and life. The author shows how the law, the gospel, and life in Christ are all interwoven so that Christians can develop a healthy way of striving for piety, motivated by the gospel. By focusing on Scripture and by remaining true to God's Word, this book puts everything into proper perspective for Christians living and serving in God's kingdom.

A Strive for Piety. Review by AnnetteAAdrian
A full collection of Gospel motivation and notes. Perfect "table book" conversation piece.
A growing to be more sanctified in this life, to be loving, to study the link between faith and works,
the law shows us our sins and the gospel shows us Christs redemption.
We desire to keep the law and gospel in a proper relationship which leads us to speak of either one in isolation from the other.
We must properly divide God's truth of justification (faith) & sanctification (life).
As Christian's we should strive for piety. A goal of life and service to look forward to in God's heavens.
Gospel is LOVE. (Posted on 11/15/2017)
