This book provides a Lutheran perspective on the teachings and beliefs of the Baptist Church. The author traces its history back to 17th-century England and discusses the fact that most modern Baptists teach some form of "decision theology." He explains that Baptists are not a single denomination but rather a cluster of denominations, each with its own unique characteristics and teachings. After showing that much of Baptist theology doesn't present the gospel clearly, the author challenges Lutherans to talk confidently and sincerely about their faith with their Baptist friends and relatives.
