This Bible study is an overview of the book of Acts. It presents some basic themes that have been repeated throughout the history of the Christian church. Each lesson studies Acts and how these themes are found in the 150-year history of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). It also includes suggestions for researching your congregation's history.
The study covers the following six lessons:
The Birth of the Christian Church
Strengthening the Stakes and Equipping the Saints
Public Ministers of the Gospel
Mission Expansion into Judea and Neighboring Regions
The Church Was Preserved during Societal Problems and Doctrinal Conflicts
To the Ends of the Earth.
This kit contains PDF and RTF files of the student lessons and a PDF file of the leader's guide, which covers all the lessons.
The Anniversary Reflections course is part of the NPH Bible Insights series of Bible studies.
