Details
David was the greatest king of God's Old Testament people, the Israelites. Throughout his life, God used many people to mold David into the man and leader he came to be. This Bible study looks closely at those people, but also helps us focus on the people God brings into our lives for the same purpose. This is a companion study to Robert Koester's book Agents of Grace: The People in David's Life and in Yours.
The eleven lessons included are :
- Samuel—David's Mentor
- Goliath—The Person Who Made David Famous
- Saul—God's Tool of Affliction
- Jonathan—David's True Friend in Christ
- Abigail—The Friend Who Saved David From Himself
- Uriah—The Friend David Murdered
- Nathan—David's Pastor
- Absalom—God's Tool for Chastening
