The curriculum is published in 2 series. The New Testament series can be used one year, and the Old Testament series can be used the following year.
Both Series have 3 sets. Each set contains all the materials needed for 13 weeks (13 weeks is a quarter of the calendar year and a third of the school year). Three sets are enough material for an entire school year.
Each set consists of 5 pieces:
A Lutheran elementary school will normally teach 2 lessons per week. Therefore, during a given school year, a Lutheran elementary school will use all 5 pieces of all 3 sets of 1 series.
A Sunday school will usually teach 1 lesson per week. Therefore, during a given school year, a Sunday school will use only 3 pieces of each set: the A or the B student lesson book, the teacher’s guide, and the accompanying A or B copy master book.
