Mental Illness: In Church - A Christian Understanding - How We Can Help
Saturday, June 11, 10 A.M.
Mental illness is a very real issue for some Christians. Some may even suffer in silence to avoid a perceived stigma. So what does God's Word say about mental illness? How can we empathize with those it affects? Moreover, how is Christ calling us as a Church and as individuals to help our fellow brothers and sisters? Join us for an engaging 2-part presentation that examines these and other critical questions.
Presented by Dr. Stephen Saunders, Professor of Psychology and Director of Clinical Training at Marquette University. Dr. Saunders is also the author of the newly released NPH book, A Christian Guide to Mental Illness, Vol. 1.
